Ability to work with blueprints

Main tasks
Accounting and bookkeeping
Perform full bookkeeping
Prepare the verification balance
Perform accounting entries and ensure the annual closing
Prepare and verify internal financial statements (income statement, balance sheet)
Ensure the accuracy of accounting data before its transmission to the external accountant
Collaborating closely with the accountant during the end of the financial year
Prepare and submit government remittances (GST, QST, DAS, etc.)
Administrative management and compliance
Managing CNESST files (declarations, forms, follow-ups and data accuracy)
Ensure pay equity monitoring
Managing group insurance files
Administrative management of projects
Providing administrative support to project managers
Participate in the optimization of administrative processes and the monitoring of project profitability

Skills required
Relevant experience in accounting (required)
Excellent knowledge of the complete accounting cycle
Proficiency in Sage accounting software
Good understanding of computer tools (Office suite, intermediate Excel skills)

Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
