Main tasks

  • Prepare the steel components and sub-assemblies

  • Assemble and adjust various steel components

  • Perform all MIG welding tasks

  • Ensure self-checking of the quality of welds, assembly and fitting

  • Read and interpret the plans

Skills required

  • Excellent knowledge of MIG and electrode welding

  • Experience in welded mechanical assembly

  • Ability to work with blueprints

  • Skill in performing high-quality welds

  • Autonomy, organizational skills, meticulousness and rigor

Requirements

  • DEP in welding/assembly or 1 year of relevant experience

  • Install the air and electrical systems

  • Install the axles, tires and various components

  • Cutting and installing wood or aluminum flooring

  • Install various components such as reflective tape, mudguards, etc.

  • Perform general maintenance

  • Keep your work area clean at all times

Administrative Assistant

Main tasks

Accounting and bookkeeping

  • Perform full bookkeeping

  • Prepare the verification balance

  • Perform accounting entries and ensure the annual closing

  • Prepare and verify internal financial statements (income statement, balance sheet)

  • Ensure the accuracy of accounting data before its transmission to the external accountant

  • Collaborating closely with the accountant during the end of the financial year

  • Prepare and submit government remittances (GST, QST, DAS, etc.)

Administrative management and compliance

  • Managing CNESST files (declarations, forms, follow-ups and data accuracy)

  • Ensure pay equity monitoring

  • Managing group insurance files

Administrative management of projects

  • Providing administrative support to project managers

  • Participate in the optimization of administrative processes and the monitoring of project profitability

  • Perform the update of in-house software related to production

Skills required

  • Relevant experience in accounting (required)

  • Excellent knowledge of the complete accounting cycle

  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software

  • Good understanding of computer tools (Office suite, intermediate Excel skills)

  • Rigour, autonomy, organizational skills and great discretion

  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position

  • Experience in manufacturing SMEs (a significant asset)

  • Experience with trailers or heavy equipment is an asset.
